Tony Chair
Product Description
Inspired by Jean Prouve 1950 Antony Chair. "Prouvé combines the soul of an engineer with that of an architect" -Le Corbusier. Many connoisseurs regard Antony as Prouvé's finest design. This chair stands out by virtue of its unconventional construction producing a sturdy yet dynamically curvaceous form. Antony is especially suited for the private sphere, but also finds an appropriate place in waiting areas.
Jean Prouvé (8 April 1901 - 23 March 1984) was a French engineer and designer. His main achievement was transferring the manufacturing technology from industry to the architecture, without losing the aesthetic qualities.
